YPrime's IT team is looking for a Production Support Engineer to maintain and administer Windows Servers, Server clusters, Azure, and to support our delivery team's deployments to development, validation, UAT, and production environments. You'll be based remotely or in our Sandwich – Kent office.

2+ years of related experience
Detailed knowledge of SQL Server administration
Detailed knowledge Azure
An understanding of scalable computing systems, data structures, and algorithms

A strong sense of personal accountability
A commitment to quality

Experience in the Life Science industry
Knowledge of SQL and PowerShell scripting

Here are some more details about the job:

You'll maintain and administer individual Windows servers and server clusters
You'll support our IRT and eCOA Delivery team's deployments to development, validation, UAT, and production environments
You'll assist customer care and project teams with issue navigation and resolution
You'll assist delivery teams with custom monitoring needs, data issues, and troubleshooting
You'll maintain and administer server virtualization environments
You'll respond to user issues and requests for assistance (Tickets, phone, email)
You'll maintain related system configurations and documentation in accordance with YPrime's SOPs and Work Instructions
You'll design and implement Azure automation tasks
You'll design and implement network and server security posture
You'll design and implement backup and recovery best practices
You'll design and implement best practices for infrastructure maintenance and monitoring
