Yourconstruction are delighted to be looking for an Operations Coordinator to join a successful Construction Group. This will be working within the Head Office of the business and covering all Administration and Operational Support.

Job Purpose:

To help support and develop the Group’s Operations and Facilities Department.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the Operations Manager in overseeing the Group purchases and services • Assist with building estate management repairs and re-newels. • To maintain accurate records of planned, in-progress and completed project work. • Assist with the implementation of Health and Safety policies and procedures. • Assist with the implementation of transport policies and procedures. • Provide a central support service to all branch locations for Transport & Health and Safety. • Maintain compliance with operators’ licence, driver hours and driver standards. • Use in house software for Health and Safety and Transport compliance. • Ensure incoming calls/emails are dealt with promptly. • Undertake any site maintenance where necessary. • Help set up and support the Group operations department. • Any other duties as required by management. Essential:

Ability to be proactive and to use initiative • High quality verbal and written communication skills • The ability to provide a high level of attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent organisational skills and a strong ability to prioritise • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines • A positive team player, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues • Ability to complete general maintenance tasks

IT Skills

MS Office and good working knowledge of Excel • Knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry• Previous experience in a Health and Safety / Transport Operator role.

Desirable: • Full UK Driving Licence

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
