Position Overview & Specifications

We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in West Sussex. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our elderly residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Supporting residents with mobility and transfers
Administering medication in accordance with care plans
Assisting with meal times and ensuring residents are well-nourished
Providing emotional and social support to residents
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in a care environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A caring and compassionate nature
A commitment to delivering high-quality care
The ability to work as part of a team
