We are currently recruiting for a full-time Receptionist/Admin Assistant for a central Oxford University department.
Duties include:
- Welcoming visitors to the department and providing assistance as necessary, including directing them to the appropriate area and dealing with queries
- Dealing with incoming enquiries via telephone and email in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintaining and tidying the reception area, kitchen and office communal space, ensuring the office environment is kept clean and professional at all times
- Managing the booking system for internal meeting rooms, ensuring that all staff follow the booking requirements that need to be identified in advance, arranging catering if required
- Assisting the room bookers with the set up and clearing of meeting rooms and supporting the use of audio-visual equipment if required
- Monitoring and maintaining the office stock supplies including stationery, refreshments, PPE, and printer consumables
Please be aware that all candidates need to be able to start work immediately and must be able to work on site if required to do so.
