Position Overview & Specifications

We have an exciting opportunity for a clinical psychologist with enthusiasm and a commitment to working within the area of acute care to provide specialist psychological input to this service.

The successful post-holder will take the lead in developing, organising and delivering psychology services in the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, (CRHTT). Working alongside colleagues, the post-holder will provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and brief interventions. A key part of the role will be contributing to the implementation of Comprehend, Cope & Connect (CCC), which is a psychology led model of care spanning the Acute Care Pathway and enabling multi-professional colleagues to offer psychologically informed care and interventions to patients who are in crisis or experiencing acute mental health problems. These interventions form part of our coproduction and collaborative approach to care and recovery.

The post-holder will be based at Antelope House, Southampton. You will be professionally and line managed by the Acute Care Psychology Lead, Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
