Business/Location: Preston Role Title: Warehouse Operative

Role Holder: Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Role Purpose Statement:

To ensure that all goods are booked in efficiently, stored, picked and packed correctly so our clients experience an outstanding customer service

Organisation Structure:

Main Accountabilities:

Receipt of goods into the warehouse.
Unloading and loading trucks.
Ensuring that all incoming loads are thoroughly inspected prior to booking in.
Picking and packing orders ready for despatch.
Ensuring the stock is kept clean & tidy.
Maintaining accurate live stock levels
Helping to plan the van delivery schedule.
Ensure that the maintenance / safety checks are completed on the forklift trucks.
Maintaining a Safe working environment in the warehouse department and report on near misses and accidents.
