Production Operators – Merchanting Operations

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Merchanting Operations arm of the business for two Production Operators to join the team at our Head Office in Berwick-upon-Tweed. These are full-time, permanent roles working an average 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Tasks:

Prepare for and perform manufacturing operations, activities and tasks as assigned.
Follow all relevant company standards, procedures and safe working practices.
Perform regular equipment maintenance.
Repair and clean the equipment and production area.
Monitor and control the process operation.
Perform inspection and testing operation/task/activity.
Manage, check and control materials in your area of responsibility.
Effective handover of operations
Operate ancillary equipment/transport material including forklift trucks and industrial vehicles.
Maintain a clean as you go policy in all areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the business.
