Position Overview & Specifications
The Laboratory Medicine department currently has a vacancy for a specialist laboratory assistant. We are looking for a friendly and cheerful person, who is practical and has an interest in science. The role involves various duties in the Blood Transfusion section of the Blood Sciences laboratory.
The role is full time 37.5 hours per week .
The post-holder will be supported with training as required for the post and will be part of a support team and required to maintain competency in all relevant areas of the laboratory. Previous medical laboratory experience would be desirable, but full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be literate, numerate and have excellent keyboard skills.
