SEEKING PASSIONATE & ENTHUSIASTIC TEACHERS FOR TODDLERS PROGRAM.

Safari Kid - Mission is now hiring passionate Toddler teacher to provide a caring & nurturing environment for children for children 24 - 36 months. Responsibilities

Employ Montessori educational techniques to teach children (training provided if needed)
Preparing and maintaining the classroom environment to optimize student learning.
Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
Track children’s progress and communicate professionally with parents
Collaborate with other educators
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Must be able to change diapers

Skills

Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and Montessori educational methods
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable

Qualifications:

AMS or AMI Montessori training preferred
12 core units in Early childhood + Infant/ Toddler Units and at least 1 year experience working with toddlers.
Self- motivated, responsible, driven and works well with minimal supervision
Certification in child CPR and first Aid
Current TB test and health report
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation:

In line with current industry standards.

Part time position (2:00 - 6:00 pm)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
