Position Overview & Specifications
The Phlebotomy team are looking to recruit a Band 2 permanent Phlebotomist.
The successful applicants will be expected to support and complement the existing team, taking bloods from a variety of patients. This includes working across the whole hospital supporting both Inpatients and Outpatients, this service is offered 7 days a week including Public Holidays. (Please see job description)
The applicant would need to be caring, friendly, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showing empathy and compassion, to work and communicate with the patients and the team.
No previous phlebotomy experience needed as full training will be provided.
