Proclinical are recruiting a Lab Assistant for a specialised biotech client. This role is based in Cambridge for a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Complete laboratory tests to produce specific data to support numerous investigations.
- Perform routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies.
- Participate and assist with animal related procedures.
- Create and maintain records and associated experimental results in electronic and physical databases
- Prepare specimens and samples.
- Monitors and prepares orders to ensure efficient functioning of the laboratory.
- Exercises knowledge of biosafety safety concerns when working with human samples.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in supporting with the planning, problem analysis, handling and delivering wet lab experiments
- A background in biology or other life science area.
- The capability and motivation to learn specific, practical techniques and apply this data to solve methodological problems.
- Confidence in the use technical equipment.
- Time management skills to work on numerous projects.
