This role is an excellent opportunity to be exposed to high level operations and ensure company compliance. The main duties of the Health and Safety Assistant will be:

Completing and updating risk assessments and SSOW
Ensuring all documentation is accurate and maintained
Assisting with internal and external audits
Managing compliance of company policies and procedures

We would love to speak to anybody from a Manufacturing background who has been involved with Health and Safety to a similar level, who has:

A high level of computer literacy, particularly with MS Office and is able to communicate across all business layer by multiple mediums
An understanding of the day to day stables of such a role
The confidence to delivery Health and Safety inductions and updates
IOSH experience, through an IOSH certificate and/or previous working experience of BRC standards would be advantageous

The Successful Health and Safety Assistant will be offered:

A Salary of £25k - £30k DOE
25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
