HMP Belmarsh are looking for a Porter to deal with patients, healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone and face to face and ensure that everyone is working in a tidy healthcare area. The Porter post is a varied role, undertaking a range of delegated portering duties, including unloading, delivery of stock, and any other general tasks required across Prison Healthcare Service.
About You
We are looking for individuals who are keen to take on roles with varied duties, supporting the delivery of excellent healthcare to prisoners. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to work as a team member with a non-judgemental and compassionate approach How will we support you?- Bespoke induction

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £26,000 per annum - depending on experience. We offer a whole host of additional benefits such as: cycle to work scheme, free DBS check, free uniform, an extensive training and development structure for all employees along with an employee recognition scheme.

About Us
HMP Belmarsh is a Category A men’s prison with an operational capacity of over 910 inmates and is located in South East London. The site houses a High Security Unit (HSU) and is regarded as the most secure prison unit in the United Kingdom. HMP Belmarsh became operational in April 1991 and is adjacent to and adjoin to Woolwich Crown Court.
