We want you to join the Places for People Group and the 11,000 other colleagues on our journey; colleagues who have helped to build, manage, and maintain places that people are proud to call home and stay active in. More about your role

We are recruiting an Assistant Data Analyst to work in our new Data Team to assist developing a suite of standardised Power BI reports by collating, analysing, and producing reports from complex data sets within our private rental stock. This will involve reporting on all company data in relation to our tenancies, maintenance, compliance, customer satisfaction and finance with clear definitions, governance, and data management. You'll provide actionable insights and analyses to inform business decisions using ETL processes and Power BI data models.

This is a great development opportunity to the right candidate as you will be supported with technical and skill-based contact.

More about you

We are looking for someone who has a real passion for data and understands the role it can play in helping businesses make impactful decisions. You will have previous experience of data manipulation and consider your Excel skills to be advanced. As a skilled communicator you'll feel comfortable presenting to stakeholders, and you'll enjoy developing positive working relationships. If you have used software such as Power BI, Tableau or Business Objects this would be a great advantage, but we will support you to further develop your knowledge.

Above all you will be someone with a keen eye for detail, able to spot errors and have the tenacity to investigate issues and find why something isn't reporting as expected.

The benefits

We are a large diverse and ambitious business, which will give you job security and all the challenge you could wish for. Here people can flourish, thrive, better themselves and work in fantastic communities with inspirational colleagues and customers.

We know that there's always more we can do to make you smile, that's why we offer a comprehensive benefits package to help colleagues save money or make their lives a little bit easier which can include:

  • Excellent holiday pay and sick pay
  • Pension with matched contributions
  • Training
  • Extra perks including huge discounts and offers from shops, cinemas and much more.
