Our remote-first, global team develop open-source software that anyone can use or improve. This includes Polkadot, the Polkadot SDK and Kusama - key parts of the Web3 tech stack, the next generation of the internet. Our mission is to make Polkadot the most active and innovative community in blockchain, powering a new era of connected and decentralised applications.

Β About the Team

This role sits in our Acceleration department, home to the people who drive ecosystem growth by building tools, integrations, and partnerships across the Polkadot network.

Β About the Role

  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams and see direct impact of your work

  • Work on networking, syncing, and tooling that keep the network fast, reliable, and resilient

Β Your Skills
  • Work autonomously and solve problems independently

  • Collaborate with others in an open-source culture, work well with peer review as a reviewer and reviewee

  • Possess a good understanding of system design and an ability to work with complex systems

  • Take ownership of their work and be responsible for outcomes

  • Have good communication skills and can present work in β€œplain English” in blog posts or conferences

Β About Working With Us
