Woking Hospital | Permanent | Full-Time
Up to £20,500 per annum, dependent on experience
37.5 hours per week
Join us as a Radiology Assistant in our Woking Hospital and play your part in building a healthier nation. You will be part of a dynamic radiology department, assisting with a range of radiological examinations.
As a Radiology Assistant you will:
Assist patients throughout their time within the department and preparing patients prior to their imaging.
Assisting the Radiographers in maintaining an efficient daily work list, workflow of patients.
Assist Radiologists in carrying out radiological examinations.
Deal with service user queries and patient appointments using Radiology IT systems.
Be responsible for stock maintenance and ordering.
To succeed as a Radiology Assistant, you will need:
Experience within a Radiology department, assisting with MRI, fluoroscopy and US procedures in particular.
NVQ Level 3 in Health related subject
Be caring and empathetic.

We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment, Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
