We are currently seeking a Punjabi-speaking carer/housekeeper to provide support to an elderly couple in their daily activities. This part-time position requires 4 hours of work per day, six days a week, offering flexibility and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in someone's life.

Responsibilities:

Assist the elderly couple with cooking traditional Punjabi meals, ensuring their dietary preferences and restrictions are accommodated.
Maintain a clean and organized living environment by carrying out household chores, including cleaning, laundry, and general tidying.
Provide bathing and personal care assistance, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
Engage in friendly conversation, companionship, and emotional support, promoting a positive and nurturing environment.

Requirements:

Fluency in Punjabi is essential, as the elderly couple primarily communicates in Punjabi.
Experience in Punjabi cooking, able to prepare a variety of authentic Punjabi dishes.
Previous experience in caregiving, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred.
Empathy, patience, and respect for the elderly, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to efficiently complete tasks.
Reliable and punctual, able to commit to the designated schedule.
