Job Description

Transport Manager COmpliance Responsibilities

Ensure all operational activities are compliant with relevant legislation, regulations and internal procedures.
Monitoring all investigation activity to understand root cause and make sure that corrective and preventative action and solutions have been complete.
Ensure full departmental compliance through regular monitoring of QHSE/Sustainability/Fleet standards. This includes PPE, Vehicle checks, CV servicing and MOT's, VOR's, Contractor, hygiene, temperature checks, pest control, accidents and near misses.
Ensure all inspections, checks, tachograph and all other monitoring is carried out on time and in line with company policy
Produce relevant reporting and management information to increase efficiency, business improvement and customer satisfaction
Offer guidance, advice and coaching on transport issues, set expectations, and communicate clearly on the required standards and policies to all within transport and other departments.
Deputise for the Transport Operations Manager if required
