Due to our continuing popularity, new, exciting facilities, and our commitment to providing a positive work life balance, we are looking to expand our current brigade of amazing, talented chefs!

Our goal is to operate a 4 day on 3 day off working week for a proportion of the year.

We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join the team. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and is highly competative.

Main Duties include:

Working in the main kitchen preparing and presenting dishes to standard for our Rosette winning Pineapple Restaurant and 1236 Cave Bar menus.
Supporting the banqueting kitchen team on occasion.
Assisting the Executive Chef in the design of dishes and menus
Ensuring HACCP procedures are followed.
Supervision and coaching of junior members of the brigade and kitchen portering team.
Assist in managing the team deliver the cleaning and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas.

Our facilities are second to none including our trail blazing ‘Under the Stars’ 5 luxury domes dining and events experience as well as our award-winning Pineapple Grill & Seafood Restaurant and our historic 800-year-old 1236 Cave Bar. Our recently added ballroom with a capacity for 200 is an in-demand venue.
