We are looking employees to join our new non ferrous handling facility located in Duncrue st, Belfast

The job we are recruiting for is a general operative/ labourer within the working hours of 0800 - 1700, Monday to Friday.

What you will be doing

Loading, unloading and moving various items of scrap materials for recycling, such as metal.
Sorting and grading of various metals
Learning to use various equipment on site (balers, gullotine, etc.)
Conducting daily checks on site equipment and reporting of problems accordingly.
Actively participate in our strong safety culture.
Ensuring the company Health & Safety and environmental policies are strictly adhered to.
Monitoring all visiting suppliers
Assisting site management as required.
completion of general house keeping duties

Availability to work Saturday mornings when required.
Ability to travel to and from the depot without difficulty.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Starting at £10 per hour basis 42.5hrs per week. Any additional hours paid at overtime rate
