Lynn Recruitment is working with a newly refurbished eatery and garden terrace currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their skilled culinary team.

Main Duties:

To be responsible for the mis-en-place of the Bar Kitchen as for their particular section
To be responsible for the kitchen service.
To develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with the rest of the brigade and other colleagues
To maintain a high standard of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practice
To take ownership of all Kitchen operations while on duty ensuring all service is on time, and co-ordinate the processes involved to ensure optimal delivery.
To ensure all ingredients are ordered in the correct quantities to ensure best price and yet prevent wastage.
Working closely with the General Manager on strategy and growth of the

food operation and menu development.

Person Specification:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.
High level of attention to detail
A great passion for delivering great food.

Remuneration and Conditions of Employment:

Full Time, Permanent
Experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment with a genuine

desire to please our customers and deliver great tasting, well presented
dishes.

An excellent track record in kitchen management, food safety and

complete confidence in EHO legislation and the ability to maintain
standards of hygiene, stock rotation and organisation
