Position Overview & Specifications
THE APPRENTICESHIP
As a KFC Apprentice, you’ll earn while you learn, working towards a nationally recognised Hospitality Qualification (equivalent to GCSE level!)
The apprenticeship is designed to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours that will help you thrive in the Hospitality Industry. Your training will be delivered every 4-6 weeks, either face-to-face in your restaurant or online, and you’ll get lots of on the job training and support from your team too.
Your apprenticeship will take around 15 months to complete, but it doesn’t have to stop there! Once you’ve graduated from the programme, there’s plenty more opportunities to spread your wings. Whether that’s taking the next step in your restaurant career, progressing towards becoming a Team Leader, or applying for opportunities in our Head Office, we’ve got you covered.
WHO YOU ARE
We’re not looking for years of experience – just real people who are willing to learn and up for getting stuck in as part of our awesome team. Don’t worry about the rest, we’ll teach you all you need to know.
WHO WE ARE
Take one man with a big idea (and some serious style), add 11 herbs and spices, grit, ambition and buckets of heart – you’ve got KFC. It’s simple, we’re a people business that sells chicken and chips (and some other pretty epic stuff too).
LIFE AT KFC
It’s fast, it’s fun, and it’s never dull. We share ideas, celebrate the wins and learn from our mistakes. We treat our team as family and our guests as friends. We love originality. It’s the secret ingredient behind our success. So, if you’re looking for a place where you can be you, and be welcomed as part of the family – look no further.
Oh, and did we mention the free meals, 25% discount, flexible shifts and career progression? Maybe we should have led with that…
UNITED BY THE BUCKET
At KFC, we’re all about flavour. That perfect blend of herbs and spices that makes everything so finger lickin’ good. But our blend over bland approach doesn’t just apply to our chicken. We value, support and celebrate all the things that make our KFCers authentic and original. Because whatever your flavour – your ability, age, background, ethnicity, gender, religion or sexual orientation - we’re all united by the bucket.
If you need any reasonable adjustments as part of your application or interview process, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
