Position Overview & Specifications

We are seeking expressions of interest for reliable and flexible Exam Invigilators to conduct examinations in accordance with examination board regulations.

Part-Time | Casual | £11.68 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly competent and enthusiastic individual to join our expanding Exams team.

Successful applicants will be required to conduct examinations by examination board regulations, including the security of examination question papers, the collection and return of material from exams staff, preparation of the exam room, informing students before the exam of legal requirements, managing the actual examination process and the maintenance of accurate records.

The examination invigilator is the person in the room responsible for conducting a particular examination session in the presence of candidates. Invigilators have a crucial role in upholding the integrity of the examination process.

Flexibility, reliability, and an eye for detail are essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly.

This is a seasonal role working around college exam timetables. Scheduling is agreed upon mutually with the Exams Officer – various hours and days are available.

Invigilators may be required to support students with additional needs (full training will be provided).
