Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for a trustworthy and well-organised housekeeper on a part-time basis (5 hours 5 days per week) to help with the day to day running of a household that consists of one man and his dog.

Being a dog lover is essential to be successful in this role.

Please note that this is NOT a live-in position and requires daily to travel to Portishead, Bristol, so being local to this area is a must. This is an employed position, so no agencies, please.

You’ll be responsible for (but not limited to)

All housekeeping duties
Food Shopping
Cooking to suit an allergy diet (to be discussed in detail at the interview stage)
Cleaning
Laundry
General help e.g. (post office runs/taking the car to the garage)
This role may also involve simple administration tasks, such as sending letters.
Dog sitting when required (not actually sitting on the dog, this is highly frowned upon)
Dog walking (if and when required)

We are looking for

Someone who has a great sense of humour, who is highly organised and can follow their own initiative. Previous experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
