Art Shop Assistant - Part Time Freelance Role

JE Gallery is a small online gallery specialising in Chinese art & design. We are recruiting a smart and highly-motivated part time Store Assistant to join us immediately. The successful applicant will be required to work between 2-3 days per week and will be based in our office in central Croydon.

Responsibilities

Assisting with all day-to-day operations of the business including:

Packing and posting customer orders
Assisting in preparing stock, labelling, quality control
Providing first class customer services
Assisting with the photo shooting and picture editing
Assisting with posters design and writing press releases
Assisting with the online marketing, search engine optimisation, keyword planner, maintaining website, blog and social media

Competencies

Efficient, diligent and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication
Good computer skill, familiar with adobe creative suite
Friendly & helpful, always put the customer first
Passion for Chinese & Japanese art & design
Able to work independently & remotely
Speak English fluently

* The daily rate is £83 (for 7.5 working hours)
