Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for bright and conscientious individuals to join our Morningside Cheesemongers on a Full Time basis. The ideal candidate must have a genuine love for customer service, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Your duties will include:

Cutting and wrapping cheese
Sales and recommendations
Providing a premium service to our loyal customers
Tasting, checking and overall cheese care
General cleaning and other tasks set by the Store Manager
Food preparation and service in our small 20 cover wine bar

To be considered for this position you must have the following qualities:

Be willing to work weekends
Be willing to work over the festive period (December)
Experience in retail or customer facing roles
A genuine passion for retail and food alike
Exceptional communication skills and confidence
Lover of cheese
No previous cheese knowledge is required however it helps
