Position Overview & Specifications

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Cleaner to help maintain a clean and organized living environment for our home in Palterton (just outside of Bolsover) and help look after our two lovely dogs.

The ideal candidate will be available to work 6 hours per week on Mondays and Thursdays, from 9ish till 12ish. However, we are willing to adjust the working hours to accommodate existing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Clean and tidy up all living areas of the home including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living rooms
Dust and wipe down furniture, surfaces, and appliances
Vacuum and mop floors
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchen surfaces
Change bed linens and wash towels as needed
Empty trash and recycling bins
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
Clothes washing and drying / putting away

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is preferred, but not required
Must be reliable and punctual
Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Must be able to communicate effectively with homeowners
Must have own transportation to and from the job site
Ability to pass a background check

Working Hours: This is a part-time position, with 6 hours per week on Mondays and Thursdays. However, the working hours can be adjusted to suit the candidate's existing responsibilities.
