Reporting to the Outpatient and Pre-Assessment Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high standard of patient care, as well as supporting our team of nurses and practitioners.

About the role:

Assist in the provision of care to patients, supporting and supervised by a registered nurse.
General admin duties carried out in outpatients including answering the telephone, booking of appointments, accessing results and location of notes
To support the registered nurses in the day to day running of the outpatient’s department
To maintain appropriate records and documentation and be able to report both verbally and written
To maintain the highest possible standards of evidence based care and to preserve the dignity and confidence of the patient at all times being aware of patient confidentiality

About you:

Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Good IT skills
NVQ Level 1 or 2 Care Certificate is desirable, but not essential
Knowledge of Compucare is desirable, but not essential

Location: The McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead
Working Hours: Permanent, Full-Time Hours
Salary: up to £22,284.17 (dependant on experience)
