Position Overview & Specifications
We are working with one of our regular manufacturing solutions clients who are looking for a Packer on a 3-month assignment to support a new contract.
The Picker / Packer Operator is responsible for producing packaged products in a safe and efficient manner, following site safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pick and pack product according to established standards
- Pack orders to the requirement from provided specifications
- Meet established productivity standards and quality standards
- Ability to perform duties with minimum supervision.
- Accountable for accurately packing, and cleaning the work area
- Maintains a safe work environment and performs work in accordance with site, Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- One (1) year experience in production environment
- Experience within a medical / pharmaceutical/ chemical manufacturing environment is desirable, but by no means essential
Details
- This role is Monday – Friday
- 39 hours per week, day shift
- £11.50 per hour, paid weekly
- Free parking onsite
