Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the aerospace, aviation, automotive, or defence sectors to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working on complex drones and Uncrewed Air Systems, designing and developing mechanical components and systems that meet system requirements.

Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will use your skills and experience to design and develop complex drones and Uncrewed Air Systems.
You will conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing of mechanical designs to ensure that they meet system requirements.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mechanical designs meet system requirements.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will develop and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, bills of materials, and test plans.
You will support the manufacturing process, including creating assembly instructions and providing technical support to production teams.

Requirements:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
You must have experience in the aerospace, aviation, automotive, or defence sectors.
You should have a strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques.
You should have experience in mechanical design, including 3D CAD modeling and FEA analysis.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
