Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join eFX IT team that looks after electronic trading for foreign exchange. You will be testing FX platform used by a global bank and number of widely used, industry standard platforms. This opportunity opened due to wide program to upgrade pricing distribution.
This role could be suitable for someone with maths/statistics background. You are enthusiastic to learn, can pick up things quickly, have ‘can-do’ attitude, and enjoy working in fast-paced environment. As main focus will be testing of pricing platform, strong numeric and analytical skills will be required.
Being part of a dynamic investment banking culture you will partake in testing leading edge technology in electronic trading for foreign exchange. You will have exposure to FX products and experience of order flow and trade execution. You will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with business representatives, development, support, and project managers.
The role will be based in the City of London, UK.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform manual functional and regression testing 2. Document, raise, track resolution of issues 3. Basic troubleshooting of issues by analysing logs and coordinating with third party software vendors 4. Basic environment monitoring and preparation for testing
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy.
Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
