Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a number of Production Operatives within our Manufacturing and Packaging process, to join our team on the day shift (08:00 - 16:30), to ensure the smooth transition of operations and to meet production targets.

Activities will include:

Participate in all aspects of manufacturing/packaging process operations.
Weighing, packing and labelling of finished goods ready for despatch.
Carrying out a variety of physical Manual Handling tasks as instructed, lifting equipment and products from 5kg up to 20kg.
Ensuring excellent manufacturing practice through maintaining a Safe, Healthy and Hygienic work place.
Taking responsibility for the area that you work in and the plant in general, this includes good housekeeping.
Ensure product quality.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must have Functional skills in English and Math.
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
Computer literate (desired).
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Ability to work accurately and methodically.
Self-motivated and uses initiative.
Flexible approach to duties and tasks.
Responsible for complying with food safety, food security, quality, HACCAP, Allergen Regulations.
Responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the product run on the lines based on specifications.
Ability to adhere to the strictest levels of hygiene and cleanliness and to perform all Health, Safety Rules and Regulations (Good Manufacturing Practices).
