We are recruiting for Production Operators within our Production Department. The role will involve working across all of our FMCG production lines at our site in Folkestone, Kent. Production Operators ensure that our high-speed production lines run effectively and efficiently, ensuring that problems and faults are rectified quickly and ensure that quality and good manufacturing checks are carried out. Working as part of a small team, you will be involved in ordering and loading components, line start up checks, change overs and wash downs, controlling parameters using computers to run the line, reading and understanding alarms and problem solving any issues that arise. You will be required to work a shift pattern of 12 hours that run from either 6am – 6pm or 6pm to 6am on a 4 on 4 off pattern. You must be an enthusiastic team player who can demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and display a positive attitude to learning and adapting to change. - Previous experience of working within FMCG manufacturing environment
- A good standard of verbal and written English
- Basic understanding of Mathematics and working with computers
- Salary- From £10.55 per hour after probation up to £12.66 per hour depending on shift pattern (with opportunity to progress up to an hourly rate of £14.52)
