You will join a dynamic and supportive team which strives consistently to provide excellent clinical care. This is also an exciting time to be joining the department which is currently in the process of launching a paediatric assessment unit (PAU). Plans are underway for admission avoidance through introduction of a consultant led triage service and further development of our multi-professional team. The department is also currently in the process of developing separate pathways for ADHD, ASD assessment and embedding a multidisciplinary workforce model, with alternative roles to support the current consultant workforce.

The role will require participation in the General Paediatric and Neonatal on-call rota on a 1:10 basis and we would like the successful candidate to explore possibilities of joining the well supported 1:5 SUDI rota.
