Interior Designer

We are currently seeking an Interior Designer to join our dynamic Cookstown team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual interested in carving a successful career within an independently owned business.

Duties

Meeting with customers in their homes or offices to provide interior design advice and guidance.
Advising clients on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and utilisation of furnishings and equipment, and colour coordination.
Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to customer for approval.
Merchandising and displaying products in a creative and eye-catching manner.
Providing excellent customer service.

Essential Criteria

Minimum of 1 years’ sales experience and providing interior design advice.
Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent) is required.
Ability to sell across the various departments.
Ability to work quickly and accurately.
Excellent numeracy skills in order to calculate required fit/measurements.
Positive, ‘can do’ attitude at all times.
Capable of communicating effectively and building rapport with customers.
Proven ability in satisfying customer needs.
A valid driving licence and access to own vehicle to travel between branches and to customers’ homes.
