Position Overview & Specifications

Call2Care Solutions is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Carer to join our team. As a Senior Carer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care services to our clients, as well as mentoring and supporting our team of Care Assistants.

Responsibilities:

Providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes, including assistance with washing, dressing, and toileting.
Administering medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Preparing meals and assisting with feeding, as necessary.
Assisting with mobility and transfers, using manual handling techniques as required.
Creating care plans and updating them in accordance with the changing needs of our clients.
Mentoring and supporting our team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and feedback as necessary.
Liaising with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all care provided, using our electronic care management system.
Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a care setting, preferably in domiciliary care.
Experience in mentoring and supporting other care staff.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate and caring attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable.
