About the role:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant. As a Customer Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive excellent service, resolving any issues they may have, and assisting them in their shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs
Assisting customers with their queries and resolving any issues they may have
Operating the tills and handling cash/credit card payments accurately
Replenishing stock and ensuring the shop floor is tidy and well-presented
Providing information on products and services
Processing customer orders and deliveries
Conducting inventory checks and managing stock levels
Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures

Requirements:

Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
Attention to detail and accuracy
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant customer service experience preferred
