Sales Assistant

Support the day-to-day running of our store.
Greeting our customers and their dogs as they enter the store.
Providing advice and suggestions regarding nutrition and products which meet the customers’ needs.
Actively promoting and presenting products and advising on product suitability and use.
Ensuring high levels of product knowledge.
Processing sales transactions quickly and efficiently.
Replenishing stock, ensuring it is correctly counted, priced and dated.
Assisting with store deliveries.
Meeting sales targets in line with business objectives.
Ensure all areas of the store remains clean, organised, neat and tidy at all times.
Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.

Candidate Profile

Well presented individual with a minimum of 1 years’ experience pet store retail.
A love of dogs.
Be friendly, enthusiastic and embrace our core values
Trustworthy and reliable.
Strong communication skills
The ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
The capacity to work alone or as part of a team.
Be resourceful and confident with strong commercial awareness
Flexible approach to working hours
Ability to physically move bulk feed.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: From £9.60 per hour
