Despatch & Intake Operatives

£10.50phr

3 on 3 off shift available 1pm – 1am

Job Purpose:

Smooth function of Intake/despatch ensuring all finish goods leaving despatch are within specification and are safely picked/loaded onto lorries. Unloading/put away equipment deliveries safely ensuring enough equipment available for production.

Key Accountabilities:

Responsible to ensure sufficient equipment (pallets, trays etc.) available for production
Responsible for checking the quality/temperature and quantity of all goods despatching against order.
Responsible for manually logging information of checks onto relevant paperwork as required.
Responsible for order picking and scanning.
Responsible for the allocation of products into the correct orders and ensure stock rotation is adhered to.
To report on any short life products/stock.
To report any product in despatch without labels.
To report any waste in the area.
Prepare company shop/downgrades pallets for out load.
To maintain an excellent standard of hygiene and housekeeping by working to good manufacturing practices.
Responsible for the Health and Safety of self and of others who may be affected by their actions.
To adhere to all Company and Site policies and procedures (i.e. Health and Safety, Hygiene, Disciplinary, Absence, Housekeeping etc).
Flexibility to cover all other roles within despatch area.

Communication: Reporting Short life products in despatch, reporting missing labels products, inform Supervisor /Team leader of any temperature/quality/Health and safety issues/concerns. Communicate with Supervisor/production regarding service /chase issues.
