Job Specification-

Aquinas Education are in partnership with Secondary schools located in Acocks Green. The OFSTED rated ‘outstanding’ school are seeking to recruit a full time teaching assistant to support across all year groups. This role is an onsite job with benefits such a loyalty bonuses and flexibility.

The ideal candidate will:

Essential

Hold a relevant teaching qualification or teaching assistant experience
Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
Have school based experience or transferable skills from different sectors eg. health and social care, sports coaching, psychology
Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
Have experience of working with children with SEN needs such as Autism, SLD, PMLD, Behaviour needs and physical disabilities

Desirable

Specific experience of working with children with SLD
An engaging and nurturing character
Ability to be resilient
Willing undertake training and development
Hold a Degree in childhood studies, psychology, education
