Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;

HGV TANKER DRIVER

Monday to Friday Nights

Based at our Purfleet depot
Tanker experience required
£15.59 (first 20-weeks employment) raising to £16.59 after.

The role of an Abbey Logistics Class1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using bulk liquid tankers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.

Duties will include:

Loading & Delivery of liquid tankers to and from UK and European (if required) customer locations
Complying with all drivers’ hours and working time regulations
Using a digital hand-held device to record all vehicle checks and delivery information
Following customer and company guidelines and processes

Experience

Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be given
Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card
